Abstract
A cathode for a lithium secondary battery includes a cathode current collector, and a cathode active material layer including a plurality of active material layers sequentially disposed on the cathode current collector which include different types of cathode active material particles from each other. DA determined by the present disclosure of an active material layer closest to the cathode current collector among the plurality of active material layers is 0.5 μm or less.
Claims19
A cathode for a lithium secondary battery, comprising:
- a cathode current collector;
- and
- a cathode active material layer comprising a plurality of active material layers sequentially disposed on the cathode current collector which include different types of cathode active material particles from each other,
- wherein an active material layer closest to the cathode current collector among the plurality of active material layers has a DA of 0.5 μm or less,
- wherein, in a 3D model of each active material layer showing a distribution of the cathode active material particles included in each active material layer, DA is an arithmetic average value of top 100 diameters of spheres when paths extending between the cathode active material particles and passing through both surfaces of the 3D model in a thickness direction are analyzed, a maximum diameter of a sphere capable of passing through each path is measured, and the diameters of the spheres are listed in a descending order.
A cathode for a lithium secondary battery, comprising:
- a cathode current collector;
- and
- a plurality of active material layers stacked over the cathode current collector, wherein at least two of the plurality of the active material layers comprise different cathode active material particles,
- wherein an active material layer which is in contact with the cathode current collector has a DA of 0.5 μm or less,
- wherein, in a 3D model of each active material layer showing a distribution of the cathode active material particles included in each active material layer, DA is an arithmetic average value of top 100 diameters of spheres when paths extending between the cathode active material particles and passing through both surfaces of the 3D model in a thickness direction are analyzed, a maximum diameter of a sphere capable of passing through each path is measured, and the diameters of the spheres are listed in a descending order.
