Abstract
A retrofit control of a ductless mini-split system (DMSS) for use in relation to temperature monitoring within a property. Data indicating a command is transmitted to a controller associated with a ductless mini-split system. The command causes the controller to configure an operation to be performed by the ductless mini-split system. Power output associated with the ductless mini-split system is monitored based on transmitting the data indicating the command. A determination that the operation has been performed by the ductless mini-split system is made based on monitoring the power output. Data indicating that the operation has been performed by the ductless mini-split system is provided for output.
Claims20
A method performed by one or more computing devices, the method comprising:
- transmitting data indicating a command to a controller associated with a ductless mini-split system to cause the controller to configure an operation to be performed by the ductless mini-split system;
- monitoring power output associated with the ductless mini-split system based on transmitting the data indicating the command;
- determining that the operation has been performed by the ductless mini-split system using a result of monitoring the power output;
- and
- providing, for output, second data indicating that the operation has been performed by the ductless mini-split system.
A system comprising:
- one or more computing devices;
- and
- one or more storage devices storing instructions to cause the one or more computing devices to perform operations comprising:
- transmitting data indicating a command to a controller associated with a ductless mini-split system to cause the controller to configure an operation to be performed by the ductless mini-split system;
- monitoring power output associated with the ductless mini-split system based on transmitting the data indicating the command;
- determining that the operation has been performed by the ductless mini-split system using a result of monitoring the power output;
- and
- providing, for output, second data indicating that the operation has been performed by the ductless mini-split system.
At least one non-transitory computer-readable storage media storing instructions to cause one or more processors to perform operations comprising
- transmitting data indicating a command to a controller associated with a ductless mini-split system to cause the controller to configure an operation to be performed by the ductless mini-split system;
- monitoring power output associated with the ductless mini-split system based on transmitting the data indicating the command;
- determining that the operation has been performed by the ductless mini-split system using a result of monitoring the power output;
- and
- providing, for output, second data indicating that the operation has been performed by the ductless mini-split system.
