A hair care composition comprising:
- from about 0.04 wt % to about 2 wt % azelaic acid;
- from about 0.04 wt % to about 1 wt % oleic acid;
- wherein the ratio of oleic acid to azelaic acid is from about 1:1 to about 1:3 oleic:azelaic;
- and an aqueous carrier.
