Abstract
The present invention relates to compositions comprising two or more DNA plasmids encoding consensus and transmitted founder HIV envelope glycoproteins which expressed and induce a potent immune response.
Claims20
A composition comprising two or more nucleic acid molecules encoding an HIV immunogen, wherein each nucleic acid molecule comprises a sequence independently selected from the group consisting of:
- a nucleic acid sequence encoding SEQ ID NO:
- 12;
- and a nucleic acid sequence encoding a sequence that is at least 96% homologous to SEQ ID NO:
- 12 across the length of SEQ ID NO:12;
- wherein the nucleic acid sequence is optionally linked to a nucleic acid sequence encoding an IgE signal peptide, wherein the HIV immunogen induces an immune response against HIV.
