Abstract
A method for amelioriation of, or prophylaxis against, a viral infection comprising administering to a patient in need of treatment a therapeutically effective amount of 5 aminolevulinic acid, optionally with at least one of cucumarin nano, zinc, vitamin C and methylene blue, and compositions thereof. Such compositions may be used for the treatment of coronavirus infections, including the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and/or rhinoviruses.

A method for amelioriation of a viral infection comprising administering to a patient in need of treatment a therapeutically effective amount of 5-aminolevulinic acid, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising 5-aminolevulinic acid or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a non-iron micronutrient, each present in therapeutically effective amounts, in an admixture with pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.
