Abstract
An inductor component includes a composite body that includes a plurality of composite layers each including a composite material of an inorganic filler and a resin; and a plurality of spiral wires that each are stacked on the composite layer, the spiral wires each being covered with the other composite layer. The average particle diameter of the inorganic filler is equal to or smaller than 5 μm, the wire pitch of the spiral wires is equal to or smaller than 10 μm, and the interlayer pitch between adjacent spiral wires is equal to or smaller than 10 μm.
Claims15
An inductor component that includes only three external terminals, the inductor component comprising:
- a composite body that includes
- a magnetic composite body that includes a single magnetic inorganic filler and a first resin, and
- an insulating composite body that includes a plurality of composite layers each including a composite material of a single insulating inorganic filler and a second resin,
- the composite body having an upper end face and a lower end face, the lower end face being provided on a surface of the composite body opposite to the upper end face;
- a wire that is disposed inside the composite body, the wire being disposed in a plane parallel to the upper or the lower end face;
- a first external terminal that is disposed in the upper end face of the composite body;
- a second external terminal that is disposed in the upper end face of the composite body;
- and
- a third external terminal that is disposed in the lower end face of the composite body, wherein
- a first end part of the wire is electrically connected to both the first external terminal and the third external terminal,
- a second end part of the wire is electrically connected to only the second external terminal of the first, second, and third external terminals, and
- the magnetic inorganic filler and the insulating inorganic filler each have an average particle diameter equal to or smaller than 5 μm.
An inductor component that includes only three external terminals, the inductor component comprising:
- a composite body that includes a composite material including an inorganic filler and a resin, the composite body having an upper end face and a lower end face, the lower end face being provided on a surface of the composite body opposite to the upper end face;
- a wire that is disposed inside the composite body, the wire being disposed in a plane parallel to the upper or the lower end face;
- a first external terminal that is disposed in the upper end face of the composite body;
- a second external terminal that is disposed in the upper end face of the composite body;
- and
- a third external terminal that is disposed in the lower end face of the composite body, wherein
- a first end part of the wire is electrically connected to both the first external terminal and the third external terminal,
- a second end part of the wire is electrically connected to only the second external terminal of the first, second, and third external terminals,
- a first via wire is stacked on and directly contacts a connection wire, an outer circumference part of the wire is stacked on and directly contacts the first via wire, a second via wire is stacked on and directly contacts the outer circumference part of the wire, and the second external terminal is stacked on and directly contacts the second via wire, and
- the connection wire, the first via wire, the outer circumference part of the wire, the second via wire, and the second external terminal are each exposed on a side surface of the composite body.
