V-ribbed belt

A V-ribbed belt comprising a twisted cord comprising a carbon fiber as a core wire, wherein:

• the V-ribbed belt has a tensile elastic modulus of 240 to 500 N/(mm %), wherein the tensile elastic modulus of the V-ribbed belt is an inclination of a straight line in an area of 85-140 N/mm in a stress-strain curve;
• the core wire has a core wire diameter of 0.6 to 1.2 mm;
• and
• the core wire has a pitch that is 0.1 to 0.5 mm larger than the core wire diameter.
