Compositions and methods including depositing nanomaterial

A method for fabricating a light-emitting device comprising:

• preparing a substrate;
• forming a first electrode on the substrate;
• depositing a first layer deposited on the first electrode, the first layer comprising a first material capable of transporting holes;
• forming an emissive layer on the first layer by depositing an ink composition comprising a nanomaterial and a non-polar organic solvent liquid vehicle,
• depositing a second layer on the emissive layer, wherein the second layer the comprises a second material capable of transporting electrons;
• and
• forming a second electrode deposited on the second layer,
• wherein the nanomaterial comprises a plurality of quantum confined semiconductor nanocrystals, and
• wherein the nanomaterial has a solubility less than 0.001 milligrams per milliliter in the non-polar organic solvent liquid vehicle.
