Abstract
A method for enhancing the detergent properties of enzymes of an enzyme-containing detergent composition, comprising the step of adding to said composition an amphoteric polysaccharide.

A method for enhancing the detergent properties of enzymes of a detergent composition having at least one enzyme, comprising the step of adding to said composition an amphoteric polysaccharide, wherein the amphoteric polysaccharide has a DSanionic value greater than its DScationic value, the DSanionic value is from 0.01 to 0.2, and the DScationic value is from 0.001 to 0.1, and an enzyme having detergent properties wherein the enzyme is 1.0-5.0 wt. % of the detergent composition.
A composition comprising at least a detergent, an enzyme having detergent properties wherein the enzyme is 1.0-5.0 wt. % of the detergent composition, and an amphoteric polysaccharide, wherein the amphoteric polysaccharide has a DSanionic value greater than its DScationic value, and the amphoteric polysaccharide has a DScationic value of 0.001 to 0.1.
