Non-corrosive oven degreaser concentrate

A non-corrosive degreaser composition for removing polymerized fat soil comprising:

• (i) about 1 wt-% to about 10 wt-% of an alkanol amine alkaline source comprising triethanolamine;
• (ii) optionally, about 1 wt-% to about 5 wt-% of a second alkanol amine alkaline source comprising monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, or a combination thereof;
• (iii) about 1 wt-% to about 25 wt-% of a surfactant comprising a sulfate, sulfonate, or a combination thereof;
• and
• (iv) about 1 wt-% to about 13.1 wt-% solvent comprising benzyl alcohol;
• wherein the composition has a pH less than 10;
• and
• (v) about 0.01 wt-% to about 10 wt-% of one or more additives comprising a dye, fragrance, corrosion inhibitor, enzyme, thickener, polymer, inorganic particle, additional surfactant;
• the remainder comprising water;
• wherein the composition does not include ester solvents, nonionic surfactants and other alkaline sources besides the alkanol amine alkaline source;
• and
• wherein the composition is non-corrosive to aluminum.
