Abstract
A frame for sit-stand-tables comprising a longitudinal member, two height-adjustable legs with at least two telescopic profiles, namely an outer and an inner profile, and with a driving mechanism, driven by a motor unit, comprising an electric motor and a gear. According to the invention the motor unit is arranged in the longitudinal member and connected to the driving mechanism in the height-adjustable legs. Thus, a frame with a simplified construction is achieved. The construction of the legs can be simplified and at the same time the dimensions can be reduced, as it is not necessary to take the building-in of a motor into the legs into consideration. As both legs are driven by a joint motor unit, the electric control can also be simplified as it will not have to drive the two legs synchronously.
Claims19
A frame for sit-stand-tables comprising a longitudinal member, two height-adjustable legs with at least two telescopic profiles, namely an outer and an inner profile, and with a driving mechanism, driven by a motor unit, comprising an electric motor and a gear, wherein the motor unit is connected to a drive shaft running through the longitudinal member, the draft shaft being connected to at least one of the height-adjustable legs, and wherein the longitudinal member has an adjustable length and the drive shaft is telescopic constructed so as to be adapted to the desired length of the longitudinal member.
A frame for sit-stand-tables comprising:
- a longitudinal member;
- two height-adjustable legs, each have at least two telescopic profiles and a driving mechanism;
- a motor unit arranged in the longitudinal member and connected to the driving mechanisms in the height-adjustable legs, the motor unit comprising an electric motor and a gear;
- and
- two mounting brackets, each secured to an end of one of the two height-adjustable legs and configured for mounting the leg to the longitudinal member,
- wherein the mounting bracket is U-shaped and has an internal cross section corresponding to the outer cross section of the longitudinal member such that the longitudinal member can rest in the mounting bracket.
A frame for sit-stand-tables comprising:
- a longitudinal member;
- two height-adjustable legs attached to the longitudinal member, each height-adjustable leg comprising:
- at least two telescopic profiles consisting of an outer and an inner profile;
- and
- a driving mechanism;
- a motor unit mounted in the longitudinal member, the motor unit comprising an electric motor and a gear;
- and
- a drive shaft connected to the motor unit, the drive shaft running through the longitudinal member to at least one of the height-adjustable legs,
- wherein the frame further comprises at least one spline coupling comprising:
- a worm gear located at an end of the drive shaft opposite the motor unit, the worm gear located within a recess on the longitudinal member;
- and
- a pin located on an end of one of the height-adjustable legs, wherein the pin is configured to fit into the recess and engage with the worm gear when the height-adjustable leg is attached to the longitudinal member.
