A composition comprising:

• a conducting agent;
• and
• an electrochemically active material,
• wherein the conducting agent is a composite, and the composite comprises:
• particles comprising SiO2 and a silicon oxide of the formula SiOx wherein 0<x<2;
• and
• graphene,
• wherein graphene is directly on a surface of the particles, and
• wherein the graphene surrounds and interconnects the particles, which are embedded in the graphene,
• wherein the composite and the electrochemically active material are different materials, and
• wherein an amount of the composite is in a range of about 0.7 part by weight to less than about 1 part by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the total weight of the composite and the electrochemically active material.
