A system comprising: (a) a steam box; and (b) a monitoring system that monitors cleanliness of the steam box and is configured to connect to a paper machine.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- a. a steam box comprising:
- a diffuser;
- b. a monitoring system comprising:
- one or more sensors that monitors cleanliness of the diffuser of the steam box, wherein the monitoring system and the steam box are configured to connect to a paper machine;
- c. a cleaning system that moves relative to the steam box to clean the diffuser of the steam box, wherein the cleaning system is configured to be connected to a paper machine;
- d. a rotary actuator that moves the steam box between a working position and a rotated position;
- and
- e. a rotation arm extending between the rotary actuator and the steam box so that upon movement of the rotary actuator the rotation arm moves the steam box between the working position and the rotated portion.

- a. a steam box;
- b. a housing;
- c. a support arm;
- d. rotary actuator that rotates the steam box between a working position and a rotated position relative to a paper machine so that the steam box is cleanable in the rotated position;
- and
- e. a monitoring system that monitors cleanliness of the steam box and is configured to connect to a paper machine and
- wherein the rotary actuator is in communication with a rotation arm and the rotary actuator moves the rotation arm to move the steam box.
