Abstract
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for sorting a cell. The system may comprise a flow channel configured to transport a cell through the channel. The system may comprise an imaging device configured to capture an image of the cell from a plurality of different angles as the cell is transported through the flow channel. The system may comprise a processor configured to analyze the image using a deep learning algorithm to enable sorting of the cell.
Claims20
A cell flow system comprising:
- a flow channel configured to transport a cell through the flow channel;
- a plurality of sub-channels in fluid communication with the flow channel via a sorting junction;
- at least one sensor operatively coupled to the sorting junction, wherein the at least one sensor is configured to detect an actual arrival time of the cell at the sorting junction;
- and
- a processor configured to:
- (1) analyze (i) the actual arrival time of the cell at the sorting junction and (ii) a predicted arrival time of the cell at the sorting junction;
- and
- (2) control an operation of the cell flow system based on the analysis in (1).
