Abstract
The present invention relates to a core wire for a frictional power-transmission belt, the core wire including a Lang lay cord, having a total fineness of 300 to 1000 tex, and including a rubber component adhered to at least a part of a surface of the core wire, in which the Lang lay cord comprises a first-twisted yarn, and in which the first-twisted yarn comprises a carbon fiber.
Claims8
A V-ribbed belt, comprising:
- a compression rubber layer formed of a rubber composition containing a rubber component comprising an ethylene-α-olefin elastomer;
- and
- a core wire,
- wherein the V-ribbed belt has a tensile elastic modulus of 240 to 500 N/(mm·%),
- wherein the core wire comprises a Lang lay cord,
- the core wire has a total fineness of 300 to 1000 tex,
- the core wire comprises a rubber component adhered to at least a part of a surface of the core wire,
- the Lang lay cord comprises a first-twisted yarn, and
- the first-twisted yarn comprises a carbon fiber.
