Abstract
An image reading apparatus including: a conveyor that conveys a sheet on which an image is formed by an image forming apparatus; a reader that reads the sheet conveyed by the conveyor, by using a contact image sensor; and a first hardware processor that extracts an edge of the sheet by analyzing a read image by the reader, calculates a blur amount of the edge based on the extracted edge, and calculates a curl amount of the sheet based on the calculated blur amount.
Claims10
An image reading apparatus comprising:
- a conveyor that conveys a sheet on which an image is formed by an image forming apparatus;
- a reader that reads the sheet conveyed by the conveyor, by using a contact image sensor;
- and
- a first hardware processor that extracts an edge of the sheet by analyzing a read image by the reader, calculates a blur amount of the edge based on the extracted edge, and calculates a curl amount of the sheet based on the calculated blur amount.
A curl amount calculation method of an image reading apparatus including:
- a conveyor that conveys a sheet on which an image is formed by an image forming apparatus;
- and a reader that reads the sheet conveyed by the conveyor by using a contact image sensor, the curl amount calculation method comprising
- controlling that is extracting an edge of the sheet by analyzing a read image by the reader, calculating a blur amount of the edge based on the extracted edge, and calculating a curl amount of the sheet based on the calculated blur amount.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program for a computer of an image reading apparatus including:
- a conveyor that conveys a sheet on which an image is formed by an image forming apparatus;
- and a reader that reads the sheet conveyed by the conveyor by using a contact image sensor, the program causing the computer to perform controlling that is extracting an edge of the sheet by analyzing a read image by the reader, calculating a blur amount of the edge based on the extracted edge, and calculating a curl amount of the sheet based on the calculated blur amount.
