A metal-organic framework comprising titanium oxide clusters connected through an organic linker, wherein the organic linker comprises:
- wherein R1 is H and R2 is cyclopentyl or cyclohexyl;
- and
- wherein the titanium oxide clusters comprise Ti8O12 ring shaped clusters.
