Claims20
A refrigerator, comprising:
- a cabinet having a storage chamber;
- and
- a door connected to the cabinet and configured to open and close the storage chamber, wherein the door comprises:
- a door liner configured to define a rear surface of the door and having a liner opening;
- and
- a panel assembly configured to define a front surface of the door, wherein the panel assembly comprises:
- a front panel configured to define the front surface of the door and formed of a glass material having a low-light transmittance;
- at least one insulating panel configured to cover the liner opening and having a size which is smaller than a size of the front panel and formed of a glass material;
- at least one spacer bar arranged between the front panel and the insulating panel and configured to maintain a space between the front panel and the at least one insulating panel;
- a cap decoration configured to define an upper or lower surface of the door and having at least one foaming solution injecting hole;
- insulation injected into the at least one foaming solution injecting hole and filled in an insulating space defined by the panel assembly, the door liner, and the cap decoration;
- a support frame configured to support the rear surface of the front panel;
- and
- a door lighting unit mounted on the door liner and configured to illuminate the liner opening, wherein the storage chamber is visible through the panel assembly when the door lighting unit is turned on.
