Abstract
A display device includes: an insulating substrate, where a through hole is defined through the insulating substrate; and an organic layer which covers the insulating substrate. In the display device, a barrier area surrounding the through hole is defined in the insulating substrate, and an interruption portion, at which the organic layer is interrupted, is defined in the barrier area.
Claims15
A display device comprising:
- an insulating substrate comprising an active area, a through hole defined through the insulating substrate, a barrier area surrounding the through hole, and a dam area between the barrier area and the active area, comprising a first substrate, and a second substrate disposed on the first substrate;
- a first layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate;
- a second layer disposed on the second substrate;
- a semiconductor layer on the second layer;
- and
- an organic layer disposed on the second layer,
- wherein the barrier area comprises a plurality of grooves at least partially recessed from a surface of the second substrate, and
- wherein the organic layer is interrupted by the plurality of grooves.
