Resource reservation information sharing with data

An apparatus for wireless communication at a first user equipment (UE), comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• one or more processors, coupled to the memory, configured to:
• receive, from a second UE and on a sidelink channel, data, wherein at least one resource reservation is indicated within a control element received with the data, wherein the control element includes a bitmap or a list based at least in part on whether the at least one resource reservation is periodic or aperiodic;
• and
• transmit, on the sidelink channel, based at least in part on resource exclusion using the at least one resource reservation.

A method of wireless communication performed by a first user equipment (UE), comprising:

• receiving, from one or more additional UEs, one or more indicators corresponding to one or more resource reservations;
• and
• transmitting data, to a second UE, on a sidelink channel, wherein at least one resource reservation, of the one or more resource reservations, is indicated within a control element transmitted with the data;
• and
• determining whether to include a bitmap or a list in the control element based at least in part on whether the at least one resource reservation of the one or more resource reservations is periodic or aperiodic.
