Abstract
Disclosed is an electronic apparatus. The electronic apparatus includes a memory configured to store a plurality of frames included in an input image and a processor configured to: identify whether one frame of the plurality of frames is a first interpolated frame generated based on at least two frames from remaining frames of the plurality of frames, and select a reference frame to be used in frame interpolation of the plurality of frames based on the first interpolated frame being identified.
Claims18
An electronic apparatus comprising:
- a memory configured to store an input image;
- display;
- and
- a processor configured to control the display to display the input image,
- wherein the processor is further configured to:
- identify a first frame from among a plurality of frames included in the input image as a first interpolated frame based on comparing the first frame to a frame assembled using frames of the plurality of frames,
- obtain an output image by re-interpolating the first interpolated frame based on at least two frames of the plurality of frames included in the input image, and
- control the display to display the output image;
- identify a plurality of original frames excluding the first interpolated frame from among the plurality of frames, and
- re-interpolate the first interpolated frame based on the plurality of original frames.
An method of controlling an electronic apparatus, the method comprising:
- identifying a first frame from among a plurality of frames included in an input image as a first interpolated frame based on comparing the first frame to a frame assembled using frames of the plurality of frames,
- obtaining an output image by re-interpolating the first interpolated frame based on at least two frames of the plurality of frames included in the input image, and
- displaying the output image,
- wherein the method further comprises:
- identifying a plurality of original frames excluding the first interpolated frame from among the plurality of frames, and
- wherein the obtaining an output image comprises re-interpolating the first interpolated frame based on the plurality of original frames.
