Abstract
A communication system using vector and scalar potential is disclosed. The system uses field-free potentials signaling for many applications where the absence of shielding effects in sea water, plasma or other dense media due to the fact that the absence of (E,B) fields eliminates the possibility of induced charge and current response in the media being transited.
Claims19
A communication system comprising:
- an antenna configured to produce a far field EM radiation field having a vector potential A and a scalar potential phi;
- a shield configured to block the far field EM radiation field disposed from the antenna;
- and
- a receiver configured to receive the A and Phi fields in absence of the far field EM radiation field and convert the A and phi fields into an electromagnetic signal.
1 more element
A navigation system comprising:
- a plurality of transmitters positioned at known predetermine locations in time and space, said transmitters respectively producing distinguishable far field EM waves and A and phi fields;
- at least one shield configured to block the far field EM waves disposed about the plurality of transmitters;
- a receiver configured to receive the A and Phi fields in the absence of the far field EM waves and convert the A and phi fields into a signal on an electromagnetic spectrum;
- a circuit configured to calculate a location based on the signal on an electromagnetic spectrum.
1 more element
A system for receiving shielded electromagnetic signals disposed within a faraday cage, the system comprising:
- a receiver configured to receive A and Phi fields in absence of a far field EM radiation field which pass through the faraday cage, the receiver having a Josephson junction producing a signal at a resonant frequency having a first phase.
