Processing of a game-playing transaction based on location

A method for processing information associated with game-playing transactions, the method comprising:

• receiving from a mobile device, information associated with a game-playing transaction, the game-playing transaction associated with a game-play request for a game, the game associated with or comprising game information;
• transmitting to the mobile device a request for location information associated with the mobile device;
• receiving from the mobile device the location information;
• transmitting to a verification system the location information associated with the mobile device, the verification system determining the mobile device is located in an approved location associated with the game based at least in part on determining the location information is at least partially consistent with or mappable to second information or identification information, and transmitting, to the mobile device, verification information, encrypted and not decryptable by the mobile device, associated with the determination that the mobile device is located in the approved location;
• receiving from the mobile device the verification information;
• processing the verification information;
• and
• enabling the mobile device to play the game associated with the game-play request.
