Abstract
An excimer bulb assembly, with an excimer bulb, at least one integral captured reflector, and an integral filter such that the excimer bulb only emits substantial UV radiation between 200 nm and 230 nm, using a filter that passes light from about 200 nm to 234 nm (+/−2 nm).
Claims13
A fixture to illuminate an occupiable space, comprising:
- at least one LED adapted for general illumination of at least a portion of the occupiable space;
- at least one krypton chloride excimer light source adapted to irradiate at least a portion of the occupiable space with Far UV radiation;
- at least one power supply;
- said at least one power supply adapted to provide at least 2000 volts with a frequency of at least 10 k Hz to said at least one krypton chloride excimer light source;
- a quartz aperture;
- a pass filter that has at least one layer of hafnium;
- said at least one LED in communication with said at least one power supply;
- said at least one power supply adapted for electrical communication with the fixture.
