Association establishment method and apparatus

A non-transitory computer-readable media storing computer instructions, that when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform a method comprising:

• receiving a trigger frame sent by an access point (AP), wherein the trigger frame is used to:
• trigger an unassociated station (STA) to perform uplink data transmission, and
• indicate at least one available subchannel for random accessing by the unassociated STA;
• performing random accessing to acquire an available subchannel;
• sending an association request message on the available subchannel, of the at least one available subchannel, acquired by an unassociated STA;
• receiving a multi-user block acknowledgement frame,
• wherein the multi-user block acknowledgement frame includes a piece of association acknowledgement information,
• wherein the piece of association acknowledgement information includes a traffic identifier information,
• wherein the traffic identifier information comprises a dummy association identifier, and
• wherein the dummy association identifier indicates the piece of association acknowledgement information is acknowledgement information of the association request message.
