Abstract
Aspects described herein relate to generating a configuration indicating whether a minimum communication range parameter in sidelink control information (SCI) corresponds to a location-based value or a signal strength-based value, and transmitting the configuration to one or more UEs.
Claims20
A method for wireless communication, comprising:
- generating, by a network node, a configuration indicating whether a minimum communication range parameter indicated in sidelink control information (SCI) transmitted by a transmitting user equipment (UE) in sidelink communications corresponds to a location-based value or a signal strength-based value;
- and
- transmitting the configuration to one or more UEs.
An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:
- a transceiver;
- a memory configured to store instructions;
- and
- one or more processors communicatively coupled with the transceiver and the memory, wherein the one or more processors are configured to:
- generate a configuration indicating whether a minimum communication range parameter indicated in sidelink control information (SCI) transmitted by a transmitting user equipment (UE) in sidelink communications corresponds to a location-based value or a signal strength-based value;
- and
- transmit the configuration to one or more UEs.
