Electrode material, method for manufacturing electrode material, electrode, and lithium ion battery

A carbonaceous-coated electrode active material having

• primary particles of the electrode active material and secondary particles that are aggregates of the primary particles, and
• a carbonaceous film that coats the primary particles of the electrode active material and the secondary particles that are the aggregates of the primary particles,
• wherein the carbonaceous-coated electrode active material has a specific surface area, which is obtained using a nitrogen adsorption method, being 4 m2/g or more and 40 m2/g or less, and a volume of micropores having a micropore diameter of 200 nm or less per unit mass, which is obtained using the nitrogen adsorption method, is 0.122 cm3/g or more and 0.162 cm3/g or less, and the carbonaceous-coated electrode active material has an average micropore diameter, which is obtained from the volume of the micropores having a micropore diameter of 200 nm or less per unit mass and the specific surface area, being 26 nm or more and 90 nm or less, and
• wherein a crystallite diameter of the electrode active material is 30 nm or more and 250 nm or less.
