Abstract
The catalyst composition includes graphitic carbon nitride and a plurality of platinum oxide nanoparticles disposed on the graphitic carbon nitride.
Claims6
A catalyst composition comprising:
- graphitic carbon nitride;
- and
- a plurality of platinum oxide nanoparticles disposed on the graphitic carbon nitride, having a platinum loading from about 25% to about 35% by weight of the catalyst composition.
A catalyst composition comprising:
- graphitic carbon nitride;
- and
- a plurality of platinum oxide nanoparticles disposed on the graphitic carbon nitride, wherein the plurality of platinum oxide nanoparticles includes platinum 4+ species and platinum 2+ species.
A catalyst composition comprising:
- graphitic carbon nitride;
- and
- a plurality of platinum oxide nanoparticles disposed on the graphitic carbon nitride, having an overpotential for reaching a current density of about 10 mA cm−2 from about −5 mV to about −10 mV.
