A rollator includes a collapsible frame supported on a plurality of wheels, a pair of handlebars, and a braking mechanism.
Claims18
A rollator for aiding mobility of a user, the rollator comprising:
- a left-side frame;
- a right-side frame coupled to the left-side frame;
- a first handlebar coupled to the left-side frame;
- a second handlebar coupled to the right-side frame;
- a plurality of wheels supporting the left-side and right-side frames, a first wheel of the plurality of wheels including:
- a wheel hub having a lateral extension protruding from the wheel hub;
- and
- a tire disposed about the wheel hub;
- and
- a brake pad configured to selectively exert a force on the lateral extension of the wheel hub of the first wheel to resist movement of the rollator along a surface.
