Striped pattern image examination support apparatus, striped pattern image examination support method, and program

A striped pattern image examination support method comprising:

• extracting, by a processor, at least central lines and feature points from each of first and second striped pattern images, as a feature of each of the first and second striped pattern images;
• performing, by the processor, collation of respective of the central lines of the first striped pattern image and the second striped pattern image and computing corresponding central lines between the first and second striped pattern images;
• differentiating, by the processor, at least one of colors and line types of the corresponding central lines and one or more central lines other than the corresponding central lines;
• accepting, by the processor, an operation for changing, by a user, a display form of the corresponding central lines in the first and second striped pattern images with the central lines superimposed;
• and
• superimposing and displaying, by the processor, the corresponding central lines and the one or more of the central lines other than the corresponding central lines on each of the first and second striped pattern images according to the display form that has been changed by the user.

A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing thereon a program that is configured to, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to perform:

• extracting at least central lines and feature points from each of first and second striped pattern images, as a feature of each of the first and second striped pattern images;
• performing collation of respective of the central lines of the first striped pattern image and the second striped pattern image and computing corresponding central lines between the first and second striped pattern images;
• differentiating at least one of colors and line types of the corresponding central lines and one or more central lines other than the corresponding central lines;
• accepting an operation for changing, by a user, a display form of the corresponding central lines in the first and second striped pattern images with the central lines superimposed;
• and
• superimposing and display the corresponding central lines and the one or more of the central lines other than the corresponding central lines on each of the first and second striped pattern images according to the display form that has been changed by the user.
