Abstract
A novel maize variety designated X13R074 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X13R074 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X13R074 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X13R074, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X13R074 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X13R074 and methods of using maize variety X13R074 are disclosed.
Claims20
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13R074, produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH4C3V with a second plant of variety PH4CR8, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH4C3V and PH4CR8 have been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202211027 and 202211023, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13R074 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH4C3V with a second plant of variety PH4CR8, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties PH4C3V and PH4CR8 have been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202211027 and 202211023, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety X13R074 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety PH4C3V with a second plant of variety PH4CR8, representative seed of the varieties PH4C3V and PH4CR8 having been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202211027 and 202211023, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties PH4C3V and PH4CR8 further comprises the locus conversion.
