Abstract
A novel maize variety designated 1PJMH55 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant comprise crossing maize variety 1PJMH55 with another maize plant are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into 1PJMH55 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are provided. Hybrid maize seed, plants or plant parts are produced by crossing the variety 1PJMH55 or a locus conversion of 1PJMH55 with another maize variety.
Claims20
A seed, plant, plant part, or plant cell of inbred maize variety 1PJMH55, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202303022.
A converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell of inbred maize variety 1PJMH55, representative seed of the maize variety 1PJMH55 having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202303022, wherein the converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell comprises fewer than six locus conversions, and wherein the plant or a plant grown from the converted seed, plant part or plant cell comprises the fewer than six locus conversions and otherwise comprises the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize variety 1PJMH55 when grown under the same environmental conditions, and further wherein the fewer than six locus conversion confer a property selected from the group consisting of male sterility, a site for site-specific recombination, abiotic stress tolerance, altered phosphate, altered antioxidants, altered fatty acids, altered essential amino acids, altered carbohydrates, herbicide tolerance, insect resistance and disease resistance.
An F1 hybrid seed produced by crossing a plant or plant part of inbred maize variety 1PJMH55, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202303022 with a different maize plant, wherein inbred maize variety 1PJMH55 further comprises a transgene that is inherited by the seed, wherein the transgene was introduced into inbred maize variety 1PJMH55 by backcrossing or genetic transformation.
