Abstract
An electronic vapour inhaler includes a chamber configured so that a user can place a cartridge into said chamber, an induction coil arranged to extend around the chamber, a temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature inside the chamber, and a control arrangement arranged to control operation of the induction coil based on the temperature measured by the temperature sensor to maintain a predetermined temperature inside the chamber.
Claims14
An electronic vapour inhaler, comprising:
- a housing including a chamber configured to receive a cartridge, the housing including an air inlet through which air can flow into the chamber;
- an induction coil arranged to extend around the chamber;
- a temperature sensor to determine a temperature inside the chamber, the temperature sensor being arranged to measure a temperature of airflow into the chamber through the air inlet and determine the temperature inside the chamber as a function of the measured air inlet temperature, properties of the cartridge, and an amount of energy supplied by the induction coil;
- and
- a control arrangement arranged to control operation of the induction coil based on the temperature determined by the temperature sensor to maintain the cartridge at a predetermined temperature.
