Abstract
A novel maize variety designated X13R066 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X13R066 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X13R066 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X13R066, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X13R066 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X13R066 and methods of using maize variety X13R066 are disclosed.
Claims20
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13R066 produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH2DNP with a second plant of variety 1PTJS70, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH2DNP and 1PTJS70 have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-124160 and NCMA Accession Number 202301007, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13R066 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH2DNP with a second plant of variety 1PTJS70, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties PH2DNP and 1PTJS70 have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-124160 and NCMA Accession Number 202301007, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety X13R066 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety PH2DNP with a second plant of variety 1PTJS70, representative seed of the varieties PH2DNP and 1PTJS70 having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-124160 and NCMA Accession Number 202301007, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties PH2DNP and 1PTJS70 further comprises the locus conversion.
