Embodiments of the present invention pertain to glass compositions, glasses and articles. The articles include an aluminosilicate glass, which may include P2O5 and K2O.
Claims18
A glass comprising:
- SiO2 in a range from 50 mol % to 65 mol %;
- Al2O3 in a range from 5 mol % to 20 mol %;
- MgO in a range from 0 mol % to 0.4 mol %;
- CaO in a range from 0 mol % to 0.4 mol %
- P2O5 in a range from greater than 5 mol % to 25 mol %;
- and
- alkali metal oxide (R2O), wherein the R2O comprises K2O in a range from greater than 5 mol % to 20 mol %.
