Abstract
The present disclosure provides minimum-boiling, homogeneous azeotropic and azeotrope-like compositions of 1,2,2-trifluoro-1-trifluoromethylcyclobutane (“TFMCB”) with each of ethanol, n-pentane, cyclopentane, trans-1,2-dichloroethylene, and perfluoro(2-methyl-3-pentanone).

An azeotrope or azeotrope-like composition consisting essentially of effective amounts of 1,2,2-trifluoro-1-trifluoromethylcyclobutane and perfluoro(2-methyl-3-pentanone), wherein the azeotrope or azeotrope-like composition has a boiling point of about 48.70° C.±0.01° C. at a pressure of about 14.7 psia±0.2 psia.
An azeotrope or azeotrope-like composition consisting of 1,2,2-trifluoro-1-trifluoromethylcyclobutane and perfluoro(2-methyl-3-pentanone), wherein the azeotrope or azeotrope-like composition has a boiling point of about 48.70° C.±0.01° C. at a pressure of about 14.7 psia±0.2 psia.
