Abstract
Embodiments of golf gloves having a cut out portion and methods to manufacture gloves having a cut out portion are generally described herein. Other embodiments of gloves may be described and claimed.
Claims20
A glove comprising:
- a glove material;
- a glove body comprising:
- a dorsal side configured to contact a backside of an individual's hand;
- a palmar side configured to contact a palm of the individual's hand;
- a first end from which a plurality of finger portions and a thumb portion extend outwardly;
- and
- a second end defines a wrist portion, wherein:
- the wrist portion defines a glove opening in communication with an interior portion defined within the glove body;
- the glove body further comprises a reinforcing panel between the thumb portion and the wrist portion, where the reinforcing panel spans across both the dorsal side and the palmar side of the glove body;
- the reinforcing panel comprises a cut out portion defining an opening formed through the reinforcing panel and in communication with the interior portion of the glove body to minimize bunching up of the glove body;
- the dorsal side of the glove body comprises a flexible portion proximate the plurality of finger portions, adjacent to an individual's knuckles when wearing the glove.

- the wrist portion defines a glove opening in communication with an interior portion defined within the glove body;
- the glove body further comprises a reinforcing panel between the thumb portion and the wrist portion, where the reinforcing panel spans across both the dorsal side and the palmar side of the glove body;
- the reinforcing panel comprises a cut out portion defining an opening formed through the reinforcing panel and in communication with the interior portion of the glove body to minimize bunching up of the glove body;
- the dorsal side of the glove body comprises a flexible portion proximate the plurality of finger portions wherein the flexible portion stretches across the plurality of finger portions to the thumb portion.
