Abstract
Antimicrobial and foamable alcoholic compositions, where the compositions include at least about 40 wt. % of a C1-4 alcohol and one or more silane surfactants selected from (1) zwitterionic silane surfactants, (2) polyalkoxylated silane surfactants that contain at least one silane group and at least one polyalkylene oxide chain.
Claims8
An antimicrobial alcoholic composition comprising:
- at least 60 wt. % of an antimicrobial ingredient comprising a C1-4 alcohol or a mixture of two or more C1-9 alcohols, based upon the total weight of the alcoholic composition;
- and
- a polyalkoxylated silane surfactant consisting of bis-PEG-18 methyl ether dimethyl silane.
