Abstract
Various implementations described herein relate to a system including multiple nodes. Each node is one of a storage node, a compute node, or a computer-and-storage node. Each node includes a Bluetooth® connector configured to communicate over a Bluetooth® mesh network.
Claims20
A method for managing storage of data using a plurality of nodes, comprising:
- configuring a non-volatile storage in a node of the plurality of nodes as a network storage, wherein configuring includes upscaling a total storage capacity of the network storage provided by the plurality of nodes by an amount of the non-volatile storage in the node;
- and
- communicating data that is stored in the non-volatile storage of the node over the wireless network using a short-link radio technology in compliance with Bluetooth® standards with another node of the plurality of nodes using a network storage protocol.
A computer readable program product comprising non-transitory storage media that stores instructions which, when implemented by a processor, performs a method for managing storage of data using a plurality of nodes, comprising:
- configuring a non-volatile storage in a node of the plurality of nodes as a network storage, wherein configuring includes upscaling a total storage capacity of the network storage provided by the plurality of nodes by an amount of the non-volatile storage in the node;
- and
- communicating data that is stored in the non-volatile storage of the node over the wireless network using a short-link radio technology in compliance with Bluetooth® standards with another node of the plurality of nodes using a network storage protocol.
