Printing apparatus, control method for the printing apparatus, and storage medium for controlling a copy process

A control method for controlling an image processing apparatus including a feeder and a sheet holding unit, the control method comprising:

• reading document sheets to generate image data;
• printing an image based on the generated image data on the sheet fed by the feeder from the sheet holding unit;
• causing, after receiving an execution instruction of a copy process, the feeder to start to feed the sheet from the sheet holding unit, and then determining based on a number of the sheets on which the image has been printed, whether to execute the copy process;
• and
• executing, based on the received execution instruction and the determination that the copy process is executed, the copy process for reading a document sheet to generate image data and for printing an image based on the generated image data on the sheet fed by the feeder from the sheet holding unit.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a computer program for causing an image processing apparatus including a feeder and a sheet holding unit to perform a control method, the control method comprising:

• reading document sheets to generate image data;
• printing an image based on the generated image data on the sheet fed by the feeder from the sheet holding unit;
• causing, after receiving an execution instruction of a copy process, the feeder to start to feed the sheet from the sheet holding unit, and then determining, based on a number of the sheets on which the image has been printed, whether to execute the copy process;
• and
• executing, based on the received execution instruction and the determination that the copy process is executed, the copy process for reading a document sheet to generate image data and for printing an image based on the generated image data on the sheet fed by the feeder from the sheet holding unit.
