A compound having the structure of formula (I):
- wherein:
- R2 or R2′ can be absent or present, provided that at least one of R2 and R2′ is present;
- the dashed line indicates a double bond between N1 and C2, in which R2′ is present and R2 is absent, or a double bond between N3 and C2, in which R2 is present and R2′ is absent;
- wherein:
- R2 is H and R1 is:
- wherein n is an integer selected from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, and R3 is C1-C6 straight-chain or branched alkyl, each of which can be substituted;
- or
- R1 is H and R2 or R2′ when present is —(CR4R5)m—Ry, wherein m is an integer selected from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, and wherein —(CR4R5)m—Ry is selected from the group consisting of:
- —(CR4R5)m—O—(C═O)—O—R6, wherein C4 and C5 are each H and R6 is C1-C6 straight-chain or branched alkyl;
