Abstract
A composition comprising two peptides with a size of 11 and 12 amino acids, wherein 2-3 of said amino acids are cysteines and a suitable dermatology excipient, which can be used for treatment and grooming products for animal hair, preferably for treatment and cosmetics for human hair.

A peptide composition for treating hair, comprising:
- at least one peptide sequence consisting essentially of AquisPep1 or AquisPep2;
- and
- at least one excipient suitable for dermatological use;
- wherein the peptide composition is a lotion or cream.

A peptide composition for treating hair, comprising:
- at least one peptide sequence consisting of AquisPep1 or AquisPep2;
- at least one surfactant selected from an anionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant, a cationic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, and combinations thereof;
- and
- a coloring agent/dye bound to the N or C terminus of the peptide sequence.
