A method of folding a sheet of paper. The method includes folding a strip of paper about in half to form a first folded strip. The method also includes folding the first folded strip about a point that is about two-thirds a length of the first folded strip to form a second folded strip including an exposed portion that is about a third the length of the first folded strip. The method also includes folding the second folded strip about in half to form a third folded strip. The method also includes before folding the third folded strip, applying a spot of glue on the third folded strip. The method also includes folding the third folded strip about in half to form a fourth folded strip.
Claims19
A method, comprising:
- folding a strip of paper about in half to form a first folded strip;
- folding the first folded strip about a point that is about two-thirds a length of the first folded strip to form a second folded strip comprising an exposed portion that is about a third the length of the first folded strip;
- folding the second folded strip about in half to form a third folded strip;
- before folding the third folded strip, applying a spot of glue on the third folded strip;
- folding the third folded strip about in half to form a fourth folded strip, wherein the second folded strip further comprises an exposed portion that is about a third the length of the first folded strip, and wherein a gap is disposed between part of the exposed portion and an end of the third folded strip.
A product created according to a process comprising:
- folding a strip of paper about in half to form a first folded strip;
- folding the first folded strip about a point that is about two-thirds a length of the first folded strip to form a second folded strip comprising an exposed portion that is about a third the length of the first folded strip;
- folding the second folded strip about in half to form a third folded strip;
- before further folding, applying a spot of glue on the third folded strip,
- wherein the second folded strip further comprises an exposed portion that is about a third the length of the first folded strip, and wherein a gap is disposed between part of the exposed portion and an end of the third folded strip;
- and
- folding the third folded strip about in half to form a fourth folded strip.
A product comprising:
- a sheet of folded paper comprising:
- a first fold around about a center of a strip of paper,
- a second fold within the first fold at about a two-thirds of a first length of the first fold of the strip,
- a third fold within the second fold at about a half of a second length of the second fold of the strip,
- wherein the second fold further comprises an exposed portion that is about a third the length of the first fold, and wherein a gap is disposed between part of the exposed portion and an end of the third fold;
- a fourth fold within the third fold at about a half of a third length of the third fold of the strip, and
- a spot of glue within the fourth fold.
