Method for performing uplink transmission in wireless communication system, and device therefor

A terminal for performing uplink transmission in a wireless communication system, the terminal comprising:

• a radio frequency (RF) module;
• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one computer memory operably accessible to the at least one processor and for storing instructions for performing operations when executed by the at least one processor,
• wherein the operations comprise:
• transmitting, to a base station, a physical random access channel (PRACH) preamble,
• wherein a random access procedure related to the PRACH preamble is configured to be triggered by a pre-defined event including at least one of i) an initial access of the terminal in a radio resource control (RRC) IDLE state, ii) a handover, iii) an RRC connection re-establishment, iv) a request for system information, or v) a beam failure recovery,
• wherein the PRACH preamble is transmitted based on a Contention Free Random Access (CFRA) resource or a Contention Based Random Access (CBRA) resource;
• receiving, from the base station, a random access response (RAR), wherein the RAR is based on i) a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) which is received within a time window configured for the RAR and ii) a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) related to the PDCCH;
• based on the PRACH preamble being transmitted based on the CBRA resource, transmitting, to the base station, an uplink signal based on the RAR,
• wherein the uplink signal is based on a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) scheduled by an uplink grant in the RAR;
• and
• receiving, from the base station, a message which is related to a contention resolution,
• wherein, based on i) the PRACH preamble being a plurality of PRACH preambles based on a plurality of transmission units, ii) the RAR being a plurality of RARs which are related to the plurality of the PRACH preambles, iii) the plurality of the RARs including a plurality of Temporary Cell (TC)-Radio Network Temporary Identifiers (RNTIs), and iv) one of the plurality of the TC-RNTIs being different from other of the plurality of the TC-RNTIs:
• the uplink signal comprises information on the plurality of the TC-RNTIs,
• based on the information on the plurality of the TC-RNTIs, remaining TC-RNTIs except for one TC-RNTI among the plurality of the TC-RNTIs are discarded, and
• the message includes information for the one TC-RNTI.

A method for receiving an uplink signal in a wireless communication system, the method performed by a base station and comprising:

• receiving, from a terminal, a physical random access channel (PRACH) preamble,
• wherein a random access procedure related to the PRACH preamble is configured to be triggered by a pre-defined event including at least one of i) an initial access of the terminal in a radio resource control (RRC) IDLE state, ii) a handover, iii) an RRC connection re-establishment, iv) a request for system information, or v) a beam failure recovery,
• wherein the PRACH preamble is received based on a Contention Free Random Access (CFRA) resource or a Contention Based Random Access (CBRA) resource;
• transmitting, to the terminal, a random access response (RAR), wherein the RAR is based on i) a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) which is transmitted within a time window configured for the RAR and ii) a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) related to the PDCCH;
• based on the PRACH preamble being received based on the CBRA resource, receiving, from the terminal, an uplink signal based on the RAR,
• wherein the uplink signal is based on a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) scheduled by an uplink grant in the RAR;
• and
• transmitting, to the terminal, a message which is related to a contention resolution,
• wherein, based on i) the PRACH preamble being a plurality of PRACH preambles based on a plurality of transmission units, ii) the RAR being a plurality of RARs which are related to the plurality of the PRACH preambles, iii) the plurality of the RARs including a plurality of Temporary Cell (TC)-Radio Network Temporary Identifiers (RNTIs) and iv) one of the plurality of the TC-RNTIs being different from other of the plurality of the TC-RNTIs:
• the uplink signal comprises information on the plurality of the TC-RNTIs,
• based on the information on the plurality of the TC-RNTIs, remaining TC-RNTIs except for one TC-RNTI among the plurality of the TC-RNTIs are discarded, and
• the message includes information for the one TC-RNTI.
