Abstract
The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus, wherein a terminal, for which a primary cell and a secondary cell are configured, performs a random access procedure, and a specific BWP on the secondary cell is activated on the basis that DCI received from a base station indicates non-dormancy.
Claims11
A method for activating a bandwidth part (BWP) performed by a user equipment (UE) for which a primary cell and a secondary cell are configured in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving BWP information from a base station via a radio resource control (RRC) signaling;
- receiving downlink control information (DCI) including information related to dormancy from the base station;
- and
- activating a specific BWP on the secondary cell based on the DCI,
- wherein, based on a current active BWP being a dormant BWP, the DCI informs the activation of the specific BWP provided based on the BWP information via the RRC signaling, and
- wherein a BWP inactivity timer is not used for transitioning from the dormant BWP, which is activated, to a default BWP.
A user equipment (UE) for which a primary cell and a secondary cell are configured, the UE comprising:
- one or more memories storing instructions;
- one or more transceivers;
- and
- one or more processors coupling the one or more memories and the one or more transceivers,
- wherein the one or more processors execute the instructions to:
- receive bandwidth part (BWP) information from a base station via a radio resource control (RRC) signaling;
- receive downlink control information (DCI) including information related to dormancy from the base station;
- and
- activate a specific BWP on the secondary cell based on the DCI,
- wherein, based on a current active BWP being a dormant BWP, the DCI informs the activation of the specific BWP provided based on the BWP information via the RRC signaling, and
- wherein a BWP inactivity timer is not used for transitioning from the dormant BWP, which is activated, to a default BWP.
An apparatus configured to control a user equipment (UE) for which a primary cell and a secondary cell are configured, the apparatus comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- one or more memories operably coupled by the one or more processors and storing instructions,
- wherein the one or more processors execute the instructions to:
- receive bandwidth part (BWP) information from a base station via a radio resource control (RRC) signaling;
- receive downlink control information (DCI) including information related to dormancy from the base station;
- and
- activate a specific BWP on the secondary cell based on the DCI,
- wherein, based on a current active BWP being a dormant BWP, the DCI informs the activation of the specific BWP provided based on the BWP information via the RRC signaling, and
- wherein a BWP inactivity timer is not used for transitioning from the dormant BWP, which is activated, to a default BWP.
