Abstract
In one embodiment, the method of processing telephony sessions includes: communicating with an application server using an application layer protocol; processing telephony instructions with a call router; and creating call router resources accessible through a call router Application Programming Interface (API). Claims20
A method comprising:
- receiving, from a client device, first text data associated with a telephony communication;
- sending, to an application, via a uniform resource locator (URL), a request identifying the first text data;
- receiving, from the application and in response to the request, a command associated with the telephony communication;
- and
- executing, based on the command, a telephony action for the telephony communication.
A system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- a memory that stores instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
- receiving, from a client device, first text data associated with a telephony communication;
- sending, to an application, via a uniform resource locator (URL), a request identifying the first text data;
- receiving, from the application and in response to the request, a command associated with the telephony communication;
- and
- executing, based on the command, a telephony action for the telephony communication.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium that stores instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
- receiving, from a client device, first text data associated with a telephony communication;
- sending, to an application, via a uniform resource locator (URL), a request identifying the first text data;
- receiving, from the application and in response to the request, a command associated with the telephony communication;
- and
- executing, based on the command, a telephony action for the telephony communication.
