Method and apparatus for processing service data in optical transport network

A method comprising:

• obtaining a plurality of consecutive data frames comprising a plurality of code blocks, wherein a payload area of the consecutive data frames is divided to produce a plurality of the code blocks;
• identifying, in the consecutive data frames, code blocks that implement a same service;
• and
• obtaining service data from the code blocks that implement the same service.

An apparatus comprising:

• a memory configured to store instructions;
• and
• a processor coupled to the memory and configured to execute the instructions to cause the apparatus to:
• receive service data to be mapped to a plurality of consecutive data frames;
• divide a payload area of the consecutive data frames to produce a plurality of code blocks;
• determine a quantity of the code blocks, occupied by the service data, of the consecutive data frames and locations of the code blocks;
• and
• map the service data to the consecutive data frames based on the quantity of the code blocks and the locations of the code blocks.
