Abstract
Disclosed is an electrolyte for a secondary battery, and a secondary battery comprising the same, and in particular, to an electrolyte for a secondary battery including an electrolyte salt, an organic solvent and an additive, wherein the additive includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a compound having an N—Si-based bond and a compound having an O—Si-based bond.
Claims2
An electrolyte for a multivalent metal secondary battery, comprising:
- an electrolyte salt;
- an organic solvent;
- and
- an additive,
- wherein the additive comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of hexamethyldisilazane, heptamethyldisilazane and tris(trimethylsilyl)phosphite,
- wherein the additive is present in an amount of 2% by weight based on the total weight of the electrolyte for a secondary battery,
- wherein the electrolyte salt comprises MgCl2, and
- wherein the organic solvent comprises dipropyl sulfone and tetrahydrofuran.
