Abstract
A method for license validation is disclosed herein, including receiving one or more strings of one or more parameters defining a license authorizing access to at least one or more portions of software, generating a first hash based on the one or more parameters defining the license and a key, storing parameters defining the generated first hash, storing the generated first hash, responsive to an element rendering on a web page, determining a version of an application program interface used to generate the first hash and the key used to generate the hash, by interpreting the hash, and integrating the one or more portions of software for use by a user. The one or more portions of software are integrated based on the one or more parameters defining the license embedded in the first hash.
Claims20
A method for license validation comprising:
- receiving, by a processor on a user device, one or more strings of one or more parameters defining a license authorizing access to at least one or more portions of software;
- generating, by the processor, a first hash based on the one or more parameters defining the license and a key;
- storing, by the processor, information defining the generated first hash in a memory;
- storing, by the processor, the generated first hash in the memory;
- responsive to an element rendering on a web page, determining, by the processor, a version of an application program interface used to generate the first hash and the key used to generate the first hash, by interpreting the first hash;
- and integrating, by the processor, the one or more portions of software for use by a user, the one or more portions of software integrated based on the one or more parameters defining the license embedded in the first hash.
A computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable program medium code stored thereupon, the code, when executed by a processor, causing the processor to:
- receive one or more strings of one or more parameters defining a license authorizing access to at least one or more portions of software;
- generate a first hash based on the one or more parameters defining the license and a key;
- store information defining the generated first hash in a memory;
- store the generated first hash in the memory;
- responsive to an element rendering on a web page, determine a version of an application program interface used to generate the first hash and the key used to generate the first hash, by interpreting the first hash;
- and integrate the one or more portions of software for use by a user, the one or more portions of software integrated based on the one or more parameters defining the license embedded in the first hash.
A system, comprising:
- a memory;
- and a processor, the processor is configured to:
- receive one or more strings of one or more parameters defining a license authorizing access to at least one or more portions of software;
- generate a first hash based on the one or more parameters defining the license and a key;
- store information defining the generated first hash in the memory;
- store the generated first hash in the memory;
- responsive to an element rendering on a web page, determine a version of an application program interface used to generate the first hash and the key used to generate the first hash, by interpreting the first hash;
- and integrate the one or more portions of software for use by a user, the one or more portions of software integrated based on the one or more parameters defining the license embedded in the first hash.
