Abstract
A system (1) for vibration management comprises a stator (24, 45); a rotor (26) being mounted rotatably with respect to the stator (24, 45) about a rotational axis (9); one or more active devices (41A-41C) adapted to apply forces and/or moments on the rotor (26) and/or on the stator (24, 45); at least two sensors (42) for measuring vibrational parameter values with respect to two or more different positions, particularly along the rotational axis (9); and a controller (44) adapted to provide control signals to the one or more active devices (41A-41C) based on the vibrational parameter values of the at least two sensors (42) and on the respective position.
Claims16
A system for vibration management, comprising:
- a stator of a gas turbine engine;
- a rotor being mounted rotatably with respect to the stator about a rotational axis;
- one or more active devices adapted to apply at least one chosen from forces and moments on at least one chosen from the rotor and the stator;
- at least two sensors configured for measuring vibrational parameter values with respect to two or more different positions, along the rotational axis;
- and
- a controller adapted to provide control signals to the one or more active devices based on the vibrational parameter values of the at least two sensors and on the two or more different positions;
- wherein the controller is adapted to provide the control signals to the one or more active devices based on a ratio of values at the two or more different positions.
A system for vibration management, comprising:
- a stator of a gas turbine engine;
- a rotor being mounted rotatably with respect to the stator about a rotational axis;
- at least two active devices arranged at two or more different positions, each of the at least two active devices being configured to apply at least one chosen from forces and moments on at least one chosen from the rotor and on the stator;
- and
- a controller adapted to receive at least one chosen from operating parameter values and vibrational parameter values and to provide control signals to the at least two active devices based on the at least one chosen from operating parameter values and the vibrational parameter values, and on the two or more different positions;
- and
- wherein the controller is adapted to provide the control signals to the at least two active devices based on a ratio of values at the two or more different positions.
